Peter Dinklage, best known for his charismatic performance in the charming film The Station Agent, is headed for the London stage. Director Charles Sturridge, who cast Dinklage in Lassie last year, has asked the dwarf actor to take on the challenging role of Clov in Samuel Beckett's Endgame. "I can't wait," says Dinklage, with a noticeable thrill in his voice. "It's been a while since I've done theatre." Dinklage is currently on the set of the romantic fantasy Penelope, playing a nasty reporter who harasses Christina Ricci's lead character. Endgame will be at the Barbican later this month and then the Gate Theatre, Dublin.
